Wailua River Boat Cruise & Fern Grotto

Board a spacious, open-air river boat for a two mile leisurely journey to the Fern Grotto where you’ll enjoy a short nature walk through the rainforest. The Fern Grotto is a geological wonder of Kauai where ferns grow upside down from the roof of the grotto. A natural amphitheater of lava rock and tropical vegetation is the perfect backdrop as you are serenaded and entertained by Hawaiian musicians and hula dancers. The Wailua River is Hawaii’s only navigable river and is also a popular place for water skiing, kayaking, canoeing and stand up paddling.

Kauai’s North & East Shores

On our Kauai tour see the best beaches, mountains, waterfalls and Heiau’s (sacred ancient Hawaiian sites) on Kauai’s east shore. Stop and view Sleeping Giant from Kapaa Town, the Wailua River,  Fern Grotto, Poliahu Heiau, Hauola City of Refuge, Opaeka`a waterfalls, NaMolokama Waterfalls, Kealia Beach, Hanalei Bay & Pier, Hanalei Taro Fields, Anini Beach and the Northshore areas. Visit the Kilauea Lighthouse and Wildlife Refuge where you can see Layson Albatross, Boobies and Tropic Birds as well Nene Geese. During the winter you may be able to see Humpback whales.

Amazing Views from the Air

See the entire Garden Island from a window seat on a fixed wing aircraft in a 1-hour airplane tour. Enjoy views of the Menehune Fish Pond, the Eucalyptus Tunnel of Trees, Waita Reservoir (the largest reservoir on Kauai), Captain Cook’s Landing in Waimea Town, the breathtaking Waimea Canyon, amazing Mt. Waialeale crater and waterfalls, the majestic Napali Coastline, Lumahai Beach (where the movie South Pacific was filmed), Hanalei Valley, cascading waterfalls, Kilauea Lighthouse (the largest Frigate bird sanctuary) and miles of beautiful coastline and beaches.
